COVID Restrictions

For this retreat, there are a series of COVID restrictions required for attendance. Failure to comply with COVID restrictions and subsequent baring from the event will not be grounds for a refund of retreat attendee expense.

  • Prior to entering the retreat complex at Asilomar, attendees will be required to attest:
    • That they (and all of their guests if applicable) have completed a PCR COVID-19 test (such as the Color testing available at UCSF) and received a negative result within 48 hours of the retreat start date (12 noon on Friday 9/16).
      • Note, if attendees have had a COVID infection within 90 days of the event, they may still test positive on a PCR test even if no longer contagious. If an attendee falls into this category, they will only be required to complete the pre-event UCSF Screener and recieve clearance there (UCSF attendees will take the UCSF Health Screener and Berkeley attendees will take the UCSF Guest Screener).
    • That they (and all of their guests if applicable) have the most up-to-date vaccination (adults have vaccine + booster and children have vaccine).
      • If there are unique scenarios concerning child vaccinations which make this difficult, please contact Jonathon directly to confirm.
    • That they (and all of their guests if applicable) have masks for the components of the retreat which will require masking.
  • The morning of each day of the retreat (I.e., Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) all attendees will be required to take the UCSF Screener and recieve clearance.
  • Once at the retreat, all attendees will need to:
    • Wear a mask during all indoor activities.
    • Ensure that if they begin to display COVID symptoms at any time that they quarantine and contact the [email protected] for next steps.
